Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
At RedCat Pub Company Ltd, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and transparency in everything we do.
We take a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery, servitude, human trafficking, or forced labour — both within our business and throughout our supply chain.
Our Commitment
Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. We are dedicated to ensuring that our people, partners, and suppliers operate in an environment free from exploitation and coercion.
We will continue to strengthen our systems, policies, and training to prevent modern slavery in all its forms.
Our Approach
This statement sets out the steps RedCat Pub Company Ltd has taken, and continues to take, to identify, assess, and reduce modern slavery risks across our business and supply chain.
We are fully aligned with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and committed to meeting the requirements of Section 54 of the Act.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, workers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers working for or with RedCat Pub Company Ltd.
Due Diligence & Risk Management
As part of our ongoing commitment, we have systems in place to:
- Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chain.
- Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking.
- Monitor and review those risk areas regularly.
- Protect and support whistleblowers who raise genuine concerns.
We continue to review and strengthen our supplier onboarding and contracting processes to include explicit commitments to ethical practices and anti-slavery measures.
Supplier Standards
We expect the same high ethical standards from all contractors, suppliers, and business partners.
All agreements now include prohibitions against the use of forced, bonded, trafficked, or child labour. We also expect our partners to uphold these same standards throughout their own supply chains.
Training & Awareness
We ensure that our team members are aware of the signs of modern slavery and know how to report concerns.
Additional training has been delivered across our hotel business to help staff recognise and respond to potential cases of exploitation, ensuring immediate action is taken where needed.
Policy Compliance
Preventing, detecting, and reporting modern slavery is the responsibility of everyone working for or with RedCat Pub Company Ltd.
All supplier contracts now include anti-slavery and human trafficking clauses, and new supplier agreements are reviewed for compliance before approval.
We conduct annual risk assessments, focusing particularly on higher-risk areas such as external supply chains.
We also maintain open communication with contractors and suppliers to reinforce our values and expectations.
Supporting Policies
Our approach is supported by the following company policies and procedures:
- Recruitment Policy
- Equality, Diversity & Anti-Discrimination Policy
- Whistleblowing Procedure
Breach of Policy
Any breach of this policy by employees may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal and referral to law enforcement.
If a supplier or partner is found to have breached this policy, we will work with them to implement corrective action — or, where necessary, terminate the relationship immediately.
Continuous Improvement
We take compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 seriously and are committed to continuous improvement.
Our modern slavery systems, training, and procedures are reviewed annually — or sooner if required by changes in legislation or business operations.
